On December 4, 2017, the Saskatchewan Health Authority launched, transitioning 12 former Regional Health Authorities, including Prairie North Health Region which provided health services in the City of North Battleford, to a single provincial health authority.

A comprehensive and intuitive website for Saskatchewan Health Authority is underway – but it will take some time to accomplish. Meanwhile, the Prairie North Health Region continues to provide up-to-date facilities and services information.

The former Prairie North Health Region provided a coordinated network of health services to over 71,116 residents in the northwest region of Saskatchewan. Services were delivered to a diverse population including urban, rural, and First Nations.

Health Care Facilities

The former Prairie North Health Region provides a coordinated network of health services to over 71,116 residents in the northwest region of Saskatchewan. Services are delivered to a diverse population including urban, rural, and First Nations. Prairie North Health Region has corporate administrative offices in North Battleford with satellite offices in Lloydminster and Meadow Lake. The Health Region offers many programs and services through 26 distinct facilities or sites within the vast geographic area of the region. These include:
