Councillor Candidate Profile: Wiese, Alan

Wiese, a North Battleford resident since 2007, has a Red Seal back ground in carpentry, and has been operating his own business for 8 years. North Battleford is where he met his wife, of 11 years, and where they raise their 2 children. He is active in BYSI soccer club, involved in the Karate community, and volunteers his time at his children’s school as often as possible.

As a young family-man and business owner, Wiese wants to see council focus on strategies that encourage young families, and adults, to stay and help grow our city.

“We know with every solution there can be undesirable impact, so we need to work together to find the best solution. If we can be a council that can listen and understand people, and each other, without personal bias, judgment, and discrimination we can make North Battleford the city we all know it can be.”
