Councillor Candidate Profile: Mercer, Dennis

Who I Am:
With the exception of some University years and short stay in Regina, I’ve been a lifelong member of  North Battleford. Having invested my teaching career at John Paul II Collegiate, I’ve coached a number and variety of sports teams as well as facilitated school clubs. I am currently involved in community organizations and take pleasure in contributing to the community.

Why I’m Running for Council:
I have made North Battleford my home, and plan to live my retirement years in the community. My roots continue to drive deeply with the return to the area of my five children and grandchildren. I have lifelong relationships here as well as friendships with neighbours, former colleagues and students. My goal is to devote time, energy, and expertise enhancing the potential of North Battleford for the sake of all who call this home.
