Councillor Candidate Profile: Lindgren, Kent

Kent Lindgren was elected to North Battleford City Council in 2016 and re-elected in 2020. He is the Director of Battlefords Family Health Centre, as part of Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre. He grew up in North Battleford, and after completing his education at the University of Saskatchewan, he returned home to start a career. In 2015, he was selected as a CBC Future 40 Under 40 for his commitment to his community and area of work.

Kent strives to address critical issues in North Battleford. He seeks creative solutions and works to empower community members. He is committed to tackling the concerns that we face. He believes that until we address the reasons behind our challenges, we will never be able to make the transformative changes needed.
