Election day is Wednesday, November 13, 2024. The polling station will open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
Nomination Period
The Nomination period will begin Wednesday, September 25, 2024, and the end at 4 pm on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 (Nomination Day).
Nomination papers will be received Monday through Friday at City Hall during the following timeframe:
- September 25-October 8, 2024
- 9 am to 4:30 pm
- October 9, 2024 (Nomination Day)
- 9 am to 4 pm
Nomination Day
Nomination day is Wednesday, October 9, 2024. This is the last day to submit nomination papers to become a candidate. Nomination papers will only be accepted between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on this day.
Nomination Papers
To be nominated for an elected position, a person must file nomination papers with the Returning Officer during the specified nomination period.
Nomination papers for candidates running for Mayor or Councillor may be downloaded from the City of North Battleford website or by requesting copies from the Returning Officer at City Hall.
The Returning Officer
The Returning Officer is responsible for running the election. Nomination papers can be submitted to the Returning Officer or Nomination Officer at City Hall during the dates and times stated in the nomination period. City Hall is located at City Hall, 1291 101st Street, North Battleford, Saskatchewan.
