NBFD responds to early morning garage fires

What was initially reported as a garage fire on the property at 862-106^th Street led to a second fire involving a neighbouring garage, according to the North Battleford Fire Department.        

Firefighters responded to the call at 4:12am on Friday and were able to contain the fire to the two garage structures. Houses on the properties received minimal external damage as a result of the blaze, but both garages were deemed a total loss.       

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing and no injuries have been reported. Updates pending the outcome of the investigation will be provided when available. NBFD units were back in service at 8:00am Friday morning.
