City property assessment rolls open on March 6, 2025

The City of North Battleford is opening the property assessment rolls for inspection on Thursday of this week. This kicks off the 60-day window for all property owners in North Battleford to file an appeal if they believe there is an error in their property assessment with the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA). This year’s assessment roll will be open from March 6, 2025 up to and including May 5, 2025. Property assessment appeals may only be filed during this time.

With 2025 being a SAMA revaluation year, property assessments will now reflect property values as of January 1, 2023. Property revaluations are done in Saskatchewan by SAMA every four years, with the calculation of assessments based on sales data about properties which are  comparable in terms of size, location, available floor space, etc.
