Advance Polls get underway November 2nd for North Battleford 2024 Municipal Election

Key items for voters to keep in mind ahead of the 2024 Municipal Election in the City of North Battleford: 

Advance Poll Dates are as follows:           

o        November 2, 2024 – 12-6pm

o        November 7, 2024 – 2-8pm

o        November 9, 2024 – 12-6pm          

All Advance Polls are located at the Don Ross Centre Gym, 891-99th Street.

  • If individuals who are eligible to vote are not on the provincial voter registry, they are able to register at the polling station. All voters will be required to show two pieces of identification (one piece of photo ID) when arriving at the poll.        

  • If an individual does not have identification but wishes to vote and stays at a shelter or facility, the Elections North Battleford team can provide a “Certification of Identity and Residence” form to the voter, which can be filled out by a shelter or facility administrator who can attest to the individual’s dates of stay at the facility or shelter, and their identity.

  • If an individual does not have identification and wishes to vote in the election, one eligible voter who is an immediate or close extended family [Pursuant to Subsection 17(2) of the Local Government Elections Act Regulations] member that lives with the voter may complete the “Vouching for Identity” form and accompany them at the poll with their ID.

  • Voters who are Battlefords Handi-Bus clients may call 306-445-7797 to book free accessible transportation to attend Advance Polls. Transportation for the November 2nd and 7th advance polls must be booked by November 1st at 12pm. Transportation for the November 9th advance poll must be booked by November 8th at 12pm. A number of forms are available to accommodate voters experiencing disability so they may complete their ballots either alone or using the assistance of a friend or caregiver.
