The national day is designated to honour First Nations, M├ętis, and Inuit Veterans
November 4th 2022

In recognition of Indigenous Veterans Day flags will be half masted from sunrise to sunset on Tuesday, November 8th.

The City of North Battleford would like to pay its respect to our region’s First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Veterans who served and continue to serve our country courageously and thank them for their service.

Included in the City’s display of flags in the week leading up to Remembrance Day will be the Royal Canadian Legion’s Poppy flag, which will be part of a flag raising ceremony at 10 am at City Hall on Monday, November 7th.

The City of North Battleford is honoured to gather on Treaty 6 Territory and the homeland of the Métis and would once again like to thank all Indigenous, Métis and Inuit Veterans who protected and fought for the many freedoms we enjoy every day.
