City Meets with North West College and Minister of Advanced Education
The City of North Battleford is a proud supporter of North West College

The City of North Battleford is happy to have participated in a meeting regarding the future of North West College.

The City of North Battleford is pleased to have been involved in discussions that will strengthen both North West College and the region as a whole. Among the items discussed was the possibility of a new campus to revitalize and expand North West College. City Council believes a new facility will only benefit the region as a whole,” said Deputy Mayor Ironstand.

The North West College has a near 50-year history in the Battlefords and area. The College provides invaluable educational opportunities and training initiatives to the region. Accessible and affordable educational opportunities are essential to retaining skilled community-based talent and in attracting business and residents to the region.

The City of North Battleford is a proud supporter of North West College and recognizes the need for an expanded, modern learning environment. The City fully supports the College in exploring options for a new college campus in the Battlefords.
