September 29th 2020

City of North Battleford residents have a new and easy to use tool to make service requests. The new service request portal can be found at www.cityofnb.ca by clicking on the “Service Request” tab that will be next to the “City Government” tab. Residents can still phone 306-445-1700 to report issues or for general inquiries.

For example, residents can request (but are not limited to):

  • Reporting malfunctioning traffic lights

  • Reporting damaged sidewalk

  • Reporting potholes and requesting road maintenance

  • Reporting litter in parks/sidewalks

  • Reporting low water pressure

  • Reporting graffiti

  • Reporting issues with our website www.cityofnb.ca

  • Reporting drainage/culvert issues

  • Requesting snow/ice removal/sanding

  • Requesting tree-trimming/removal

  • Requesting an additional trash or recycling cart or additional pickups

  • Requesting billing information for taxes/utilities

  • Requesting grass cutting for public spaces

  • General inquiries

Individuals can upload images with their requests to illustrate and define the issue they are reporting or requesting. To identify the exact location of the service request, individuals can move the map location pin.

A name, phone number and email address are required from the individual who is submitting the service request. This information will allow City employees to contact the individual for more information or to provide the requester with an update.

This new service tracking software will allow the request to be automatically assigned to the correct department and for the City to track all requests from submission, assignment, work-in-progress to completion. This new service tracker will optimize service delivery and enable departments to better manage and track their work. Additionally, it will allow the City to analyze any “hot spots” with a few years of use, and use that information to identify underlying issues.

Bylaw Enforcement and Fire and Emergency Services requests cannot be made through this portal. The Community Safety Officers can be contacted at any time through their dispatch at 306-445-1775.
