Call City Hall on Monday to gain access to these services
July 10th 2020

North Battleford City Hall is waiving entrance and tipping fees to the Waste Management Facility (WMF) for individuals who have suffered damage from the heavy rains on July 7th & 8th. The WMF will waive entrance and tipping fees for residents who experienced flooding due to the heavy rains. This does not apply for commercial loads or non-flood related loads.

If you are looking to utilize the services listed below, please contact the City starting on Monday, July 13th. City Hall’s main phone is available at 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Process

Residents can gain free access to dispose of flood-damaged goods by following these steps:

  • Call 306-445-1700

  • Provide the call attendant with the information requested

  • Be prepared to record your tracking ID

  • Bring your damaged goods to the WMF

  • Provide the scale attendant at the WMF with your tracking ID

Temporary Storage

Residents in need of temporary storage, while they make repairs for their flooding damage, can utilize SeaCan storage. Residents are required to call 306-445-1700 to obtain a street use permit. The street use fee has been waived for residents who experienced flooding because of the heavy rains. The street use permit is required so the City can provide this information to emergency services, so they are aware of these obstructions. SeaCans on the street without a street use permit will be ticketed.
