City of North Battleford - Saskatchewan
Street Line Painting - 2018
Street Line Painting now up to Regulation Standards
June 1st 2018

Contractors are currently moving through the City to re-paint street lines. This year, additional streets are being painted for traffic safety and to be more in accordance to the Street Classification Regulations.

All streets in the City have a street classification assigned to them and based on this classification, the streets require line painting or do not need to be painted: Expressways, Arterial and Collector streets are classified as streets that typically experience higher traffic volumes and will therefore be painted. Local streets – defined as roadways which allow vehicles to reach residential, commercial and industrial properties – will not be painted as set out in the Street Classification.
