Ref # FIN003 - Finance Clerk III (Tax Clerk) Temporary Full-Time 8 Months - CUPE

The Finance Clerk III responsibilities are to handle citizen's tax requests and inquiries as they come to City Hall or over the phone. There is a high level of customer service and professionalism required in these roles due to the sensitivity of some of the information being processed. This position will be responsible for receiving tax payments by mail, reviewing, verifying payments and issuing receipts when required.

The City is seeking a candidate to fulfil the role of Watch Clerk at the Battleford RCMP Detachment, this position is Out of Scope. Reporting to the Office Manager this position is responsible for working with databases and computer systems (Police Reporting and Occurrence System, Canadian Police Information Centre, Canadian Justice Information Management System). Performing complete file reviews when the investigation is concluded to ensure quality assurance, maintenance of file content and statistical reporting in accordance with RCMP guidelines
