Playground Program

Every summer, the City of North Battleford offers a free playground program for children aged 6 to 12. The program runs during July and August and is supervised by trained leaders. Hours vary from year to year so parents are encouraged to watch for information that comes home with their children in June.

These are the City's Playground Program Sites:

  • Centennial Park: Located behind Beaver Lions Stadium. This playground is situated in Centennial Park and has access to lots of open space, playground equipment, swings as well as a splash pad.
  • Kinsmen Park: 18th Avenue and 94th Street. This area has many mature trees which provide attractive shade for parents on a hot summer afternoon. The playground features a splash pad, partial-handicap accessible play equipment and swings.
  • Fairview Park: This playground is on Clements Drive in Fairview Heights. It makes use of open space and innovating programming ideas to provide a quality program for the children.
  • Connaught School: 902-107th Street. This playground makes use of Connaught school yard. Children have access to playground equipment, an outdoor basketball area and plenty of open space.

Coming soon: 2018 Summer Playground Program

If you are interested in a position as playground leader, please check back at the end of April to find the application form.
