The City of North Battleford operates two arenas -- North Battleford Civic Centre and the Don Ross Arena. Various service clubs in The Battlefords kindly sponsor FREE public skating (senior and pre-school) in these facilities. The City of North Battleford recognizes and thanks the following:
Recent upgrades have made The North Battleford Civic Centre a premier hockey facility! The Civic Centre is home to the Battlefords North Stars of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. The 200’ x 85’ ice surface is open from August until April and is surrounded by 8’ seamless glass. The Civic Centre has capacity for 2500 spectators.
In the off season, the North Battleford Civic Centre is utilized for local events such as the Kinsmen Indoor Rodeo, Pow Wows, the Shrine Circus and many other events such as concerts and dances. The Civic Centre also has an upper auditorium which is used for small banquets and functions.

Saturday afternoon 12:15 pm to 1:45 pm (starts after Thanksgiving weekend)
The Don Ross Centre Arena operates from early October until April. Bleachers provide seating for approximately 200 spectators in the arena, mainly utilized by Minor Hockey, Recreational Hockey and Figure Skating.
The Arena is attached to the Don Ross Centre which is equipped with meeting rooms and a gymnasium.
