Today June 23rd, there will be a Street Closure at the 1000 block of 105th Street from 9:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. The closure will be for valve replacement.

Capital Works Projects Update

 

17th Avenue – 105th to 107th Street


Underground pipe replacement work is complete.  Roadway reconstruction is scheduled to begin this week, and will continue for approximately 2 weeks.

 

105th Street – 11th to 12th Avenue, and 12th Avenue - 104th to 105th Street


Underground pipe work will begin along 105th Street and will proceed for approximately 4 weeks. Concrete repairs along 12th Avenue between 104th and 105th Street are also expected to begin this week.  Water service disruptions, drinking water advisories and road closures will be in effect in the area.  Roadway reconstruction is scheduled for the following weeks.

 

101st Street – 11th to 12th Avenue, and 12th Avenue – 100th Street to 101st Street


Underground pipe replacement work will begin at the south end of 101st street on June 19, and proceed northward as service connection pipes to buildings are replaced.  101st street between 11th and 12th Avenue will be closed to vehicles. Sidewalks will remain open except in areas that are required to be removed to allow for pipe replacements.  Sidewalks will be closed and removed along 101st Street in early July. Street reconstruction will follow for a further approximately 4 weeks.  Access to businesses from 101st street will be closed during this period.  Water service disruptions and Drinking Water Advisories will be in effect at some locations.  Addresses effected by water service disruptions and drinking water advisories will be notified of details as the work progresses.

 

Underground pipe replacement work is planned to begin on 12th Avenue between 100th Street and 102nd Street on July 17 and proceed for approximately 3 weeks, with roadway reconstruction work to follow.


At times accesses to businesses may be restricted, businesses will remain open. Access businesses in the area through alleyways.

 

97th Street – 13th to 15th Avenue


Underground pipe replacement work is scheduled to begin July 10, lasting for approximately 6 weeks.  Road closures and Drinking Water Advisories will be in effect. Roadway re-construction will follow completion of the underground work and will proceed for a further 3 weeks.

 

99th Street – 12th to 13th Avenue


Underground pipe replacement work is scheduled to begin August 14, lasting for approximately 3 weeks.  Road closures and Drinking Water Advisories will be in effect. Roadway re-construction will follow completion of the underground work.

 

Killdeer Park Development


Roadways Construction is scheduled to begin June 26.

 

Civic Centre Parking Lot


Reconstruction of the North Parking Lot behind the Civic Centre is underway, and will continue for the remainder of the week.  The area will be closed until the project is complete.

 

Centennial Park Pathway Paving


Pathway paving work in Centennial Park is underway and will continue this week.

Street Closures June 15, 2017

There will Street Closures at multiple locations today June 15, at multiple locations.

 

There will be Partial Street Closures at Airport Road, 1221 111th Street, 1242 108th Street, 11th Avenue & 109th Street, Gagne & Railway Avenue, South Railway Avenue & Highway 16. These closures will be from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. and are for street light repairs.

 

Additionally, there will be a Street Closure at the 1500 block of 98th Street. This closure will be from 9:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. and will be for service repairs.

There will be a Street Closure today June 14, at the 1900 block of 97th Street for most of today.

Capital Works Projects Update

 

Hydrant Replacement Program

The Hydrant replacement program has been completed with sidewalk and roadway patching planned for the following weeks.

 

17th Avenue – 105th to 107th Street

Underground pipe replacement work will continue for the remainder of the week.  Drinking water advisories and road closures will be in effect in the area.  Roadway reconstruction is scheduled to begin this week, and will continue for approximately 2 weeks.

 

105th Street – 11th to 12th Avenue, and 12th Avenue - 104th to 105th Street

Underground pipe replacement work has been completed along 12th Avenue between 104th and 105th Street.  12th Avenue will be gravelled and opened to traffic early this week.  Work is then expected to move to the 1100 block of 105th Street beginning the week of June 19, proceeding for approximately 4 weeks.  Drinking water advisories and road closures will be in effect in the area.  Roadway reconstruction is scheduled for the following weeks.

 

 

101st Street – 11th to 12th Avenue, and 12th Avenue – 100th Street to 101st Street

Underground pipe replacement work is scheduled to begin June 19th along 101st street and commence for approximately 3 weeks.  Underground pipe replacement work is scheduled to begin July 12th along 12th Avenue, proceeding for approximately 2 weeks.  Street reconstruction will begin once the underground work has been completed and will proceed for a further approximately 4 weeks.  Drinking water advisories and road closures will be in effect in the area.  Access to businesses from 101st Street and 12th Avenue, will be closed for the duration of the project.

 

This work will impede access to businesses in the area, however businesses will still be open and operational. Contact the business you plan to visit to identify the best alternative access.

Street Closure June 9, 2017

Today June 9th, there is a street closure at the 1600 block of 92nd Street. The closure will be in effect from 8:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. and will be for hydrant replacement.

Street Closure June 6, 2017

There will be a Street Closure today June 6th, on 18th Avenue between 104th & 105th Street. The closure will be for valve bolt replacement and will last from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Street Closure June 6, 2017

There will be a Street Closure today June 6th at 12th Avenue of 105th & 104th Street. Additionally, on June 7th until June 9th the intersection of 12th Avenue & 104th Street will be closed as well. The closures will be in effect for 24 hours and are for underground pipe replacement work.

Street Closures June 2, 2017

Starting June 5th there will be a series of Street Closures on 101st Street for sidewalk repair. Work will begin at the Chicane in front of the CIBC banking Centre. Once completed crews will proceed to the 1300 block of 101st Street. Then crews will work on the South Sidewalk of Central Park. Work is estimated to take between 2 and 3 weeks. Crews will be working from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
