Discover North Battleford!

North Battleford is more than a home to the people that live here. It is a place that has nourished many a settler’s past and continues to provide opportunities for growth. It has become a city that has evolved into more than “just another farming community” in west-central Saskatchewan. 2011 Census Statistics show our population at 13,888 -- a 5.3% increase over 2006 statistics.

For nearly 100 years, newcomers have identified North Battleford as a unique area worthy of establishing commercial roots into. At the same time, they have appreciated the ease of integrating their families into the relaxed quality of life offered in one of the most scenic areas of the prairies. Strategically located on the Highways 16 and 4, North Battleford is a landmark and major companies have identified our quaint city as an ideal trading location with a growing population.

The City of North Battleford was established in 1913 and is home to individuals from all walks of life. Nestled within the awe-inspiring North Saskatchewan River Valley, the people of North Battleford enjoy the convenience of five minute drives to work and having lake and cottage country located just 20 minutes away.

We are home to numerous companies and retail chains, who along with the residents, strive to beautify their surroundings and make North Battleford a great place to live, work and play.

In the left column of this page, we have listed some popular attractions and otherwise unknown "gems" that often peak the interest of our residents and visitors.

What does the Credit Union CUplex look like? Why do we have a brightly lit water tower? What was the Olympic Torch Relay all about? All of that information can be found in this section -- and there is a lot more to compile!
